The food was so chewy we couldn't even eat it.. we wasted 42$ on general Tso which was tasteless .. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... AWFUL EXPERIENCE

This is the best Chinese food I've had in a long time! Very nostalgic flavors! Huge portions; only $14 for a Kowloon combo that two could share or could fill a foot all player. They are quick to serve and food comes out quick. Our waitress was also a delight!

Great price nice selections friendly staff greeted with an smile large portions good food. The black pepper chicken is delicious and fried is really good. They awesome lunch specials. Nice and spaceous on the inside. I am really glad I finally tired this place one best I had so far in Albany will be returning.

The atmosphere was wonderful! The staff was friendly and I was made to feel at home. To me feeling comfortable goes a long way!When we were approached by the waiter I could see that he was pleasant and knowledgeable. He summed up my party and made some suggestions! It was as if we had been there many times before! The food came out fast! It was hot and it looked as good as the waiter had described it!We ate in a pleasant atmosphere. We talked and fined and had a wonder time! We lobe back again soon!As a talker and someone who feels that others should know about a good dining I’m going to share my experience with people I know! MY FIRST CHOICE IF MY WIFE IS NOT COOKING...

I ordered vegetable plates 2 times here. One was a DELUXE vegetable plate. There was not enough vegetables & it made it worse that the vegetables were NOT seasoned or anything. Even the French fries and rice there is bland. Hong Kong used to be great but not the food is worse than Walmart brand food. There's no point in eating from this place if I have to season it & if the portions are not reasonable. I won't buy from this place again. GREAT WALL is 10 times better

OMG! I first experienced Hong Kong Cafe in 2007. The food there is wonderful. The lunch special portions are more than enough. My wife and I had Valentine's lunch there today! And the food is just as delicious as it has ever been.

Absolutely no flavor. They didn't put the sauce on it. Vegetables were not cooked at all. Live too far away to return it.

Quick service, good prices, large servings and great lunch specials. I would have liked a bit more flavor in my lo mein and the General Tsos could have used a little kick in the flavor department, as well.

The Chinese food in this restaurant is fantastic! I was greeted with a smile in the front desk, very friendly service, waiter was also kind and attentive, gave me good recommendations. I highly recommend their Sesame Chicken or General Tso's Chicken, it tastes great!The food was served quickly, I didn't have to wait long. It was hot and well done, had a great meal, can't wait for the next one. There's a lot more things on the Menu that I want to try out.Overall a great experience, will definitely come back here again. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for fantastic Chinese food!

I've never had a bad experience here. And I'll start off by saying this was dinner on Christmas day. We ordered our food and waited for 20 min. After the 20 min the girl came and just said "it will be 15 to 20 min until your food is ready". I told her we had somewhere to be and asked if we needed to pay for drinks. She said no. It didn't seem that busy, but I understand things happen in a restaurant. We will be back regardless.

Decent food but very poor service, server hardly understood english, had whole order wrong and didn't make it right on second time

Had Singapore noodles and and egg rolls. Sever was attentive and friendly with my kids. Good food and but lemon pepper wings were very salty.

Will not be going back cuz this restaurant again. The food was poor. Things have changed over the past year!

Great service here! Staff was friendly the food arrived on time. The store is clean and would be a place to bring a loved one. The food is amazing and I want to come back to experience what the menu has to offer. When one is hungry they need to feel refreshed after a meal. With nice size portions it leaves one with a satisfactory feeling. Come here for lunch as well not just a dinner place!I will return here. I want to go to Asia one day, utility then I have this restaurant to go too. Happy eating!

I had a great experience eating at this restaurant, came over with my family and all of us were pleased with the meal. We were given a table quickly and the waiter was a kind person, great service. Meal was served in just a few minutes after sitting, and it was absolutely fantastic, some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Portions were big for the price too, the meals weren't expensive, yet they tasted great.I definitely recommend eating here, if you crave some Chinese food, this is the right place. The service and the food are both fantastic!

Ohhhh how I would love to give a nice review but alas, I can not! When Ms.Mae was in charge our customer service was always great, the food was hot and the portions large. Now none of that is the case. My friends and I went there. It was about 10 of us. I guess the waitress was overwhelmed. She wasn't the worst but she sure wasn't the best. I ordered garlic chicken and it was warm at most and a small portion at that!

If you decide you want to dine in, it's a great atmosphere our server was courteous and suggested we try different plates. The portions of the food was more than I expected but welcomed. In my opinion it was a great experience and will continue to eat here when I'm craving Chinese food.

Surprised that it is not the place it used to be. Haven't been in a while, and it used to be one of my favorites. The restaurant felt dirty. The table and chairs were sticky? Coffee can catching a leak in the women's bathroom, and the light was out in the men's restroom. Dust everywhere. Just overall not clean. Sad, this used to be such a great place to eat.

My favorite Japanese restaurant.... Get a grill

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but my last couple experiences here haven’t been great. I used to love Hong Kong large portions and great food . Now the food seems VERY mediocre if that, and the portions are very small for the money compared to other Chinese places in town ! Chicken was dry and nothing spectacular rice was bland . The lunch price was $8 for my food a little pricy for lunch especially since they only filled one of the small compartments with rice usually at any other place they will fill both spaces up with rice ! Take the same money go to crazy buffet , eat as much as you want and still have some change left over!

Hot tea was good. The vegetables in our food was still cold. The food tasted good just seemed rushed and had cold spots. This place used to be amazing... Maybe they were just having a bad night but on a Friday night when every other restaurant in town is packed they had 4 tables mostly empty.

The best Chinese food I've eaten in Albany. The rice isn't regular yellow rice like all other 'chinese' restaurants nearby- it actually has bean sprouts, onions veggies and more! Love the shrimp fried rice with braised wings.

My visit was wonderful and I loved their delicious food. It was seriously flavorful. The portions are big and surprisingly for such a great price. I really liked their teriyaki wings, hot and sour soup and lemon chicken. I would definitely recommend these. I don't eat too much spice so these were great for me, very tasty. The staff was very kind and friendly too. Their service is A+ . The food is served hot and fresh and very quick actually. Will visit again soon with family for sure. Delicious Chinese food everyone should try!

I went in with my girlfriend, it was her recommendation. I haven't had a good Chinese food in a very long time and this I must say was delicious food! For such an amazing price! The service was great too. No complaints! Everything we ordered from appetizers to main entree was very flavorful. The atmosphere was nice and comfy. The food came very quickly and we were very hungry so we really enjoyed. Our waiter was pleasant to talk to. Their prices are very good for the quality of food they serve. Five stars for food service and price.

The food is always excellent, along with the service.Edit: Visited here like a month ago and felt like the man with the glasses at front desk was not friendly, even made me a little uncomfortable, like he was rushing me, although I was the only person in the whole restaurant. I was trying to place an order. The food also tasted mediocre and a bit overpriced for what you get. I've always loved this place and may give a second chance. Possibly.
